Ingredients:
- 2 cups of whipping cream
- 1 cup of milk
- 3/4 cup of sugar
- 2 eggs
- a teaspoon of vanilla and almond extract
- 1 cup of crushed and shelled pistachios
Instructions:
- Crack the eggs and put them in a bowl (that holds at least one quart).
- Whisk in the sugar a bit at a time. Add milk, cream and the vanilla and almond extracts and then stir well. If you want to add a bit of food coloring, add that in while you stir.
- Get out your icecream maker* and put the liquid in.
- When the icecream starts to get creamy, (about 12 min.), put the pistachios in. Wait a while longer and you'll be done!
Makes 1 Quart
* You may want to refrigerate the mixture for about 5 minutes to get it cooled off
